REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST & FOUNDER
Experienced in emotionally focused therapy for individuals and couples.
Registered Psychotherapist
Clinical Supervisor
Founder/OWNER of Streams of Life Therapy
For over a decade, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and seek deeper connection, healing, and growth. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly effective and research-based model that focuses on understanding and strengthening the bonds we share with ourselves and others.
EFT allows us to identify and break free from unhelpful patterns, foster meaningful emotional connection, and heal from relational wounds. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and experiences with curiosity and compassion, uncovering the clarity and resilience needed to move forward.
I specialize in working with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges, offering a path toward authentic connection and personal transformation. Whether you’re seeking support for a struggling relationship or navigating individual challenges, I am here to help you rediscover hope and build a more fulfilling life.

Do you find yourself wrestling with your sense of self-worth? Are you repeating unfulfilling patterns in your relationships, career, or social life? Perhaps you feel stuck in a sense of dissatisfaction, yet you still hold onto the hope that a better path exists. Therapy can help you explore that path. Together, we can uncover your strengths, clarify your values, and work toward a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.
My approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity, empathy, and creativity. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a designer, a career that taught me how to look at challenges from multiple perspectives and craft solutions that make life easier and more meaningful. This perspective informs my work in therapy—I strive to help clients "redesign" their lives in ways that align with their natural strengths, values, and aspirations. Good therapy, like good design, should work seamlessly to support who you are and how you function, rather than forcing you to conform to an ideal that doesn’t fit.
I view therapy as a collaborative, holistic journey—one that not only addresses your inner world of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors but also considers the environments, relationships, and contexts that shape your life. Informed by my own experiences as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent individual, I understand the importance of meeting challenges with compassion, not judgment.
Drawing from emotionally focused therapy (EFT) principles, I aim to create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and understood. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, navigate the complexities of your experiences, and work to design a life that aligns with your values and strengths. Whether you're struggling with ADHD, relationships, identity, or life transitions, my goal is to provide the support you need to thrive.
Sometimes, even asking for help feels impossible. Taking that first step takes strength and courage, and even being here is a positive move in the right direction. You deserve support on your healing journey. If you’d like to explore whether I’m the right fit for you, reach out to book a free 30-minute online meet-and-greet.

On a personal note
I live in the rural Muskoka area, where I find joy and peace in connecting with nature. Life here allows me to slow down, reflect, and be present—values I also bring into my therapeutic practice. I’m married, and we share our home with two older cats. Even though I would have called myself more of a dog person, I have a lot of love for all animals.
When I’m not working, you can often find me riding my motorcycle along quiet back roads, enjoying a good cup of coffee or chai from my ever-growing mug collection, designing graphic t-shirts, or diving into the creative world of tabletop role-playing games (like Dungeons & Dragons). These hobbies remind me to embrace adventure, creativity, and connection, all of which influence how I approach life and therapy.

THERAPIST INTERN
Sometimes, therapy feels like a last resort—we find ourselves stuck, anxious, or uncertain about what to do next. But deep down, we know something needs to change. I’m Lucy, and I’m here to walk alongside you in this process, helping you find new ways to move forward. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted—where you can reconnect with yourself, understand your emotions, and begin to heal.
I believe that change is possible for everyone. My role as a therapist isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you uncover your own strength and wisdom. My approach is grounded in safety, trust, and acceptance, creating a space where you can explore your emotions without judgment.
Before becoming a therapist, I volunteered at a distress center, offering support to those in crisis. That experience deepened my understanding of how vital connection and compassion are in the healing process. Now, I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) into my work to help clients heal attachment wounds, strengthen relationships, and develop a deeper sense of security—both within themselves and with others.
If you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-esteem, anger, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can connect and see if we’re the right fit.

I moved to Canada from Moldova 20 years ago and now live in Whitby with my husband and two kids. I love a good podcast, long walks, and sharing great food with friends.
